Here is a place for the parents and children against bullying. The parent section allows the parent to view signs that usually show that a child is being bullied. It guides them on what they need to do as a parent, and it gives some facts about bullying. The child section allows children to view videos about preventing bullying. It also gives the child steps to prevent bullying and what they need to do incase of being bullied. Also if has recent articles that are going on in the news dealing with bullies, and also all the different types of bullying.

This website offers information about bullying and methods to use to help children understand bullying. It focuses on 15 minute talks with children on a daily basis to help them understand bullying and what it is. Although 15 minutes does not seem like much time it can be a great instrument in building a safe and healthy environment. This website also provides links for parents, teachers, and mental health professionals. Each link provides tips and links to help with the prevention of bullying.

This website is a great resource for students, parents, and teachers!!!The website explains what a bully is and gives tips for students so that they can decide if they are being a bully to others. The site also has different characters for the students to learn about. There are videos students can watch about these characters so that they can see what bullying does to others. The site has games for students to play. It also has a section to tell adults how they can help students who are bullies and who are being bullied.

This video is about a young boy who commits suicide because he is being bullied by his classmates. He has motor disabilities and the other students bully him because of it. One of his “friends” who stood up for him at first became one of his bullies too. He turns to an online person that tells him about suicide and he eventually convinces himself that suicide is the only way for him to feel better. This is a very sad story, but it could really help adults and students to see the reasons that bullying is wrong and the affects it can have on others.

Balance Educational Services (BES): Steve Breakstone and Michael Dreiblatt are the co-founders of one of the most recognized bullying and violence prevention organizations out there. They will teach you how to recognize bullies, effectively intervene, reform, and become familiar with laws surrounding bullying. There a couple of great power points listed under teacher resources, and lots of great links to help you become better educated in this area. Lots of great resources can be found here, and these two men also have a great presentation about bullying.
